Your English Plumber is an all-round plumbing company based in Amsterdam, serving customers across the greater randstad area. We specialise in helping expats and international residents find a plumber who actually speaks their language — no miscommunication, no frustration.

Whatever the issue, chances are we've seen it before and fixed it.

We've been doing this for over 20 years. In that time we've built a reputation within the expat community for showing up, communicating clearly and getting the job done properly. We're often called in when someone else couldn't solve the problem.

FAQ

  • Do you work with all boiler brands?

    Yes. Our technicians are experienced with all major boiler brands available in the Netherlands, including Intergas, Nefit, Remeha, Vaillant, Bosch and others. If you're unsure whether we service your model, just ask when you call.


  • What if my problem turns out to be more complex than expected?

    We'll always tell you on the spot. If the job turns out to be bigger than anticipated, we explain what we found, what needs to happen, and what it will cost — before we continue. You're never committed to anything you haven't agreed to.

  • What happens if the problem comes back?

    All our work comes with a 1-month warranty. If the same issue returns within 30 days, we'll come back and fix it at no extra cost. The only exception is when a blockage is caused by root growth or pipe damage that we haven't replaced — in those cases the risk of recurrence is simply too high to guarantee.

  • Do you work with landlords and housing agencies?

    Not necessarily. It's possible that a section of your roof is loose, or that damage occurred in one place only. We'll conduct a thorough investigation before suggesting repair options.

  • Can you issue an invoice for business purposes?

    Absolutely. We can provide a full VAT invoice for any job.
