What we do.

Blocked drains and sewers. Kitchen, bathroom, toilet, washing machine outlet, gutters, main sewer line. We clear it with a cable or a jetter. If it's a repeat blockage we'll put a camera down and find out why.

Leaks.
A visible drip, a damp patch on the ceiling, or a water meter that keeps ticking with every tap closed. We find it and fix it. If the water is coming from the flat above, you get a written cause report in English for your insurer.

Boilers.
No hot water, no heating, an error code, pressure that drops every week. Service, repair, refill.

Why drains keep blocking in Amsterdam.

If your drain blocks every few months, the pipe is the problem, not what you put down it.

A drain works because it runs slightly downhill. Amsterdam is built on peat and clay, and the ground keeps sinking a few millimetres a year. Pipes buried in it sink too, the downhill goes flat, and solids settle instead of washing away.

Upstairs flats are different. Waste water drops down a vertical stack, so nothing sinks. There it's usually fat in the kitchen line or too many bends.

The giveaway is the same either way: it comes back in the same spot. A camera inspection tells you why.
